What I Think Of: Sky High (2005)
I find that this all-ages superhero film is highly underrated and all but forgotten now that superhero movies have moved over to dark and edgy. Superhero movies have come a long way since I was a kid, and Sky High is the kind of movie that could have been terrible, or terribly cheesy, but ended up be light-hearted fun, one that hit all the right marks for me. Sky High took the generic high school tale, and upped the ante by making the high school a place for kids with powers, but also kept the crux, the feeling, that makes high school life so memorable. Great movie that more people should see.

Agreed. Sky High offers viewers a neat touch on an old story. Too bad it didn't dig a little deeper into Layla's desire to not use her powers.
